Fully bolted DE vs. VVL swap
So this whole week I have been going back and forth in my head about what I should do with the car over the winter to prepare for the race season next year. (time attack and drag) My goals for power would sit in the 170-180whp range, which is the upper limit of a stock internal DE, or where a VE would start off with just a few mods.
Anyone have experience with either or both of these setups that can explain to me the disadvantages of the fully bolted DE and why I should do the swap?
