VE it is then.

I'll have to go super basic install at first, but we'll get it there before race season. I figure all I need to get the thing running is the motor, RPM switch and a clutch.

Depends on your budget. Im fan on DE, its good engine and works very good on track.
But i will rather spend money on VE than do all bolt-ons on DE.

Btw. for track racing there are other much more important things to spend money!

Correct, if u can try and get a flywheel in there before u drop in the motor. And start workin on that calum ecu asap

on a track, suspension ftw. The DE is no slouch though. I'm doin a DE build myself. shooting for 170whp w/o internals or cams done. cams might bring it to 180whp. when the motor goes, the VE will replace it though. haha
