Thread: N/A DE setup advice?

You can get 150+ w/ stock cams... I think i hit 154whp before cams.

intake, header, 2.5" exhaust, thermo intake spacers, pop, stock cat, timing @ 19 degrees.

^^what kind of intake? Or was it just the pop charger on stock plumbing. Also what kind of header. TOkes those are great numbers for no internal mods, and minus cams.

Injen Intake... don't think that's the best one you can get though.

SSAC 2.5" collector... I know for a fact that's not the best you can get lol...

thanks,it's just a roller rocker DE. the 2.5" secondary on my car made a 6whp difference at 7k than my old header. Timing helps a lot too.

I've got a stock ECU on my setup now. I don't have the tune YET but I want it eventually to get more power and better mileage.

As it IS, IN order to have a smoother idle, I've got the timing setup to 17* and the idle is at about 1000-1100rpm so it smooths the cams out a bit. I like the setup alot. It's on the raw side which is what I love about my Classic the most.

OH and Tokes car is a beast. I know Calum tuned a BONE STOCK NX (read NO MODS) to the tune of like 158WHP, some insane number like that. I'm sure you can ask him and he'll let you know for sure. It was in Wallingford and I think EricK212 was there also. Either of them can chime in at anytime and confirm this. The right tune can do ALOT of good man. That's why EricK is gonna hook me up with a tune when the Real Time shows up.
