if i cant find a complete/cheap head i will run stock cams because ill need to align hone it. if i can find a very cheap head and complete ill be getting cams.

hey guys question. is there a reason to get a new timing chain/kit? my chain looks to be good, all the guides look good, and i already have a new style tensioner on my current engine.....ill just swap it over. chains dont stretch right?

I'd recommend a chain at the least. That way you have the peace of mind knowing that the chain is fresh and unstretched. The tensioner is easy enough to replace if it makes noise, the chain is a big PITA.
