Lets just say if I wanted that WHP I'd take it to a dyno which reads differently and get it instantly. I know for a fact that on a different dyno based in my city my car would read 15kw's higher as some friends have been there to compare figures.
Dyno's are a tuning instrument really IMO as they all read soo differently.

Yeah I'll post up the spec of my cams sometime but they are drastically different to my old autech ones, which ended up smashed as a result of a rouge rocker causing havoc in my head :P

If you'd look at my factory base run of 87.5kw run on a same dyno I gained 27 kwatw with the new cams, ecu, gears, exhaust etc.

I'll put it through the true test of the 1/4 mile next month

i think the 2 1/4 will suit him just right. maybe a 2.5 but deff not a 3inch on a de. the autechs were what 10:1 or was it 11:1 ?

to the op, a nice header will make alot of power.

id love to hear what it runs. good luck.

I fitted them myself but got them dialed by Hamilton Cylinder Head. Where are you based?

Yeah I decided 2.25 would be a good size for torque yet wouldn't strangle it up high. 3" would be stupid for an NA 2.0. As for the header I'll get to one eventually maybe but for now I'm happy with the Autech one.
She sounds a beaut mate, really screams up high and gets looks at the lights because of the idle.

YouTube - poosar tune on dyno

Thats a video of it sitting on the dyno while the tuner mucked around with it. Got a good one of a power run but haven't been able to upload it yet due to my camera being ancient

Looks great. However, a set n15sss lights will transform the look imo.

I am also suprised you didn't go a little wilder yet on the cam profile. Each to their own. (:

Stratton: Autech DE is 11.5:1 CR.

Autech91: Have you got pics of header, please?

Well unfortunatly the DE head can only flow so much and its been proven that any higher duration than 270 nets very little gain. Basically I spoke to Kelford and told them what kind of driving I like to do (Think corners) and they suggested the best profile. At the time it was the most aggresive cam offered by them for the DE untill they brought out this puppy 187-C Camshaft | SR20-DE P10 & S13 (Hydraulic lifter) Naturally Aspirated | SR20 DE & DET | NISSAN | Kelford Camtech

which I don't think would be that great on the street application let alone a DE full stop without the aid of some serious flow bench time.

I would post a photo of the header up but for some reason this forum wont let me post attachments.

Yeah I've got some facelift headlights lined up but just bought a new motor bike so they'll have to wait

jagys thanks for that info.

autech, with that kind of compression i would run a huge cam. something similiar or i would go with jwt c3's with a spring and retainer and a ssautochrome header. you would gain alot of power and tq. with a good tune to make it streetable your car would be much faster and just as reliable and dailyable.

good to see someone doing something different with the Autech engine

Autech cam specs

Duration @ Half inch lift = 232

Advertised Duartion is 266/267

Lift is 11.4mm.

Ive been looking into cam options for mine, the valvetrain is uprated somewhat but no-one really know to what extent are you still using the stock retainers in yours?

Here are some pics of the stock manifold
