Well I'll try the brake cleaner thing and see what happens.

Edit: didn't really do much. Looks nice though.

you sir helped me out a lot. I kept looking for a header on ebay and couldnt find a 2.5 collector. But then i read this thread and copied his user name and found it,asked him if it was a 2.5 and confirmed it.

Just a quick heads up to those purchasing this header. I had to widen the two outer flange holes to get it to slide over the studs. I could not re-use the center rubber hangers at the connection to the midpipe. (I assume this is probably standard with any header)

^ That. I was PISSED with that flange for a few minutes, then I just took a blow torch to it and slipped it on before it cooled down. And just to be safe I used a piece of copper grounding wire through the rubber hangers as a pseudo mount.

A few minutes with a die grinder should do the trick, if you have access to one.

JVT sounds suspiciously close to "JWT."

As far as Chinese knock-offs...whats in a name? Same manufacturer, different distributor. (or sometime same distributor, different name to re-energize sales)

They adopt new names like crazy.
