Thread: opinion need , dual exhaust on our car

If I could find a pic of my old turbo B13 with its dual tip magnaflow can...it was HOT.

the B15 spec V has dual tips, I had it once on my B13. I think B13Pony has on his car.

This looks nice, it is not dual exhaust. Two tips on one muffler is good.


This looks like a rice o matic and is stupid. This is what i consider dual exhaust on a 4cyl even though it is not true dual. Its just how i explain it. Two mufflers from one pipe = dumb no matter what car it is on. True duals should be the only ones allowed to have two separate tips on different sides of the car.

What about one pipe for main exhaust and another for wastegate dump?

it clarifies that you have no idea what your talking about when it come to mufflers and exhausts

so what your telling me is that this is "rice" ? this is a stock dual tip (not dual exhaust) muffler on a spec-v

Because the dual tip muffler on the specv/maxima/altima actually had a purpose. Search around and find out what I'm talking about

your right , after i typed it i thought about it and felt i was a bit harsh...im sorry.

i just hate people that comment on other peoples cars and never have anything good to say and when they do comment they are overly rude, i can respect an opinion but sh!t talking is not necessary, some people just like to stir the pot and it happens on every forum

The comment under the spec V is for that picture. The one under the other is for the separate mufflers on each side of the car. I thought by posting pictures people would get it. I will spell it out one more time.

IF you have two outlets coming out of one muffler on one side of the car on a 4cyl motor then it looks good and is functional.

NOW, IF you have your exhaust come back as a single pipe and split in to two separate pipes, go to two independent mufflers on opposite sides of the car i think it looks dumb and serves no functionality.

Say what you want about what i post but at least understand what i am saying before freaking out.
