roller rocker action
Hi guys I have JDM roller rocker from a gt p11, I am putting the engine in my b14, I have done allot of reading, but I want some clarity on an issue. When I read about JWT S3r I noticed that there some comments about a fall off in power in the high 6000 rpm range, my engine revs to 7500(JDM) and I am not intersted in cam gears and dyno time as it is to expensive where I live (only two dynos I know off), wondering if anybody can give some detailed information on their experiences with the s3rs in the 7000 rpm range, also I like the tomei pon cams 260, 11.2 they are significantly cheaper and the rwd guys swear by them and I have not heard of the power fall off issue with these cams on the AOC , but i don't see much discussion on them from the fwd folks here.

I also have a ssac header which I would be installing with 2.5" exhaust and will be make a custom 3" intake.

Views & suggestions appreciated

i tryied bc2s and bc3s on rrhead biult turbo engine power was great up top but throwing rockers and breaking cams was an issue . big issue . the engine reved so fast i could not lift fast enuph if the tires started spinning

the cams made for the rr are less agressive for more durabillaty. you can try non rr big cams but it like russin roulete. the throttle is like a guns trigger . if the first couple of broken partrs dont detur you the fear of it will get to you and earlly shifting will insue

Thanx for the input, but I don't intend to use non rr cams, the cams I mentioned were all for the roller rocker Jwt s3r and tomei pon cams for the roller rocker
