Trying to figure out what to do with my old block
I had a W11 Avenir DET block, but the pistons blew and melted the rings to the side of the cylinder wall. I was going to get rid of it or something, but decided I should see what you guys think. Think I should re-build it all motor no forced induction? Money isnt really an issue for this, if my new DET motor blows (crosses fingers) I can just swap it out with this one.

So, if you guys think I should go all motor on this one, what exactly should I do? Obviously need new pistons/rings and gotta do something about the cylinder wall, but should I replace the rods? and build the head up?

Let me know what you think

I would def. do rods while you're in there. Does this engine have any mods on it, or is it completely stock?

14.0:1 CR pistons sound pretty good. It's not going to be all built at once, but put together piece by piece over a couple months, so I dont spend all my money right now haha.
