does anyone know what kind of power gains advancing the timing on a rr/sr20de and how difficult it is ?

On se-r.net I believe there are some articles about your topic there. Your proboly looking to pick up like 4-5 hp from bumping the timing alone. If you can make a sandwich you can advance your timing it's that dam easy. I recommend you go out and purchase a inductive timing light as well. Autozone has one that will run you about $40, very good investment if you ask me.
