Yeah, I think you have to go in and add alot of fuel in certain places for the biggers cams, as well as mess with the timing. From what I've seen some of them like more timing, while some like less.
I just added in the graph of the normal plugs vs the side gapped plugs and a graph of my dyno last year vs current showing hp and tq. Seemed like i did lose all below ~5300rpm
I'm not really a fan of the side gap, but the way you describe yourself doing it (gapping to 0.[0]45" then cutting them) is not the correct way of doing it. You need to gap them after you cut them.

i guess ill have to regap them and try it again when i tune again.

yeah but it would of been nice to gain it back atleast with the headers.
