Thread: Rod bearing question

Sorry for the noobish question but well here I go:

When installing a 20v piston and rod assembly onto a de block and crank should I buy ve bearings or can I stick to the de ones?

Is there even a difference in size/shape?

Materials might be different as lead is falling out of favor for ecological reasons...

You need calculate the bearing grade... VE and DE bearings are the same but you need the grade first...

Yup I know I need the grade just that ive never seen a ve bearing and wondered if there was a diference.... Since I'm in Mexico and would need to order ve bearings if needed I wanted to confirm
