JDM SR20de with JWT 370cc Programme. What Gains?
A friend of mine planning to run a JWT ecu on SR20de 10:1 Cr motor.

I told him he should get the programme done with some bigger injectors like 370cc. Hope that is not an over kill. He will use his stock MAF.

How much gains are we looking at here?

Other mods will be:

intake

header

2.5" exhaust

upgraded clutch kit.

This is for a naturally aspirated set-up.

Peace

Probably 5-6whp. No gains whatsoever by stepping up to 370's....

You are saying with the stock 259cc injectors and JWT ecu, he will gain 5-6hp and 0hp with the 370cc injectors?

I remember asking JWT about gains with a Sr20ve 'stock' and JTW ecu and they said 7-10hp.

I'm saying if you tested an sr20de setup with a jwt ecu and 370's, and then tested the same setup with a jwt ecu with 259's, you would see the exact same gains.

1 uses alot more gas than the other. Make a wild guess.

He would be better off putting the injector money into a set of cams.

Technically they should both use the same amount of gas but the 370's will have a lower duty cycle.

Just use the POP program with stock injectors and he will be fine.
