Quick question for those who have JWT pop-chargers.
Alright so here's the scoop. After installing the pop-charger in my 200sx a month later or so, or maybe longer my car kept dieing on me. Either I hit a bump or just driving normal sometimes and all of a sudden loss of power and the car starts bogging out, then when I let go of the gas the idle drops all the way down and the car dies. But it starts back up perfectly and drives fine. Throws me kinda off, so I decided to stop at Advanced Auto Parts to get a check engine light reading, and it gave me a code of P0110 IAT Sensor Circuit Malfunction. Is it because of the JWT pop-charger tricking the MAF to let more air in? Or is my MAF busted?

Did you plug back in the IAT sensor? If not, just plug it in and zip tie it somewhere.

Yea, I did plug it in along with the bracket that goes around it. Its on pretty tight I believe.

Air leak after your AFM/MAF. Check everthing is done up tight and there is no air getting in where it should.
I scared the crap out of myself once with this problem thought something was really wrong.

Check your MAF connector .... the little connectors inside get loose and will cause bad connections ... you have to use a little pick and bend them tighter ... Sometimes you can tell by wiggling it when the car is running and it will start running rough or die ...

Alright sounds good. I'll def try that. But yes, it did scare the crap outta me too. I was like sh*t! Its my second motor in already. Can't afford right now to go into the 3rd. Haha. Also have you guys ever heard about the throttle plate or body being the problem of why the car dies? I talked to someone who is familiar with IAT systems, and thats what he said. Could it be true? Would I then have to replace the throttle body or the adjuster on the throttle?

Intake Air Temp sensors on our cars are used for diagnostics, they will not affect the running of the engine itself. However, if you changed the piping before the throttle body and MAF, any leaks there are around said sensors will cause issues, especially when letting off the throttle.
