Thread: Cam gear settings?

It's late, I'm tired, and have thought myself stupid about this. Can any of you really explain the way it all works to me? A link to a good write up would be fine as well. I'm just trying to figure out what it is that is changed if that makes sense.



PS before someone says I'm drunk, I'm perfectly sober lol. Just tired as hell.

While I'm at it. Just to be clear, when you're on the passeger side of the car looking at the cams. Is the idea to move the cam lobes closer to each other, like this / \ or farther away like this \ /.

I hope this actually makes sense to somebody lol.

I would like to know how to do this too! nice thread Aaro. This procedure still makes me nervous but we got to learn it to extract the most power from our cars I guess.
