this might sound stupid but does just polishing a tb increase the flow of air making it more efficient? ill think about doing this to my ga16 to give a little boost to my fuel economy..even if it only gives me like 1hp..lol

dont really wanna bore it too much..if any at all..im trying to increase or keep my same fuel economy while increasing power..

Thanks for asking. The car is ok, sitting on jack stands. I havent raced since the time attack last Nov. in Orlando. I've been really busy with the Synergy Insoles. No time or money to go racing. The plan is to build a 87mm 13.1 comp. motor, eventually.

1-2 hp & 1 MPG more than you had before, adds up.

Seems I am missing something here:

When you machine the tb, wouldn't that mean that the diameter increases and the buttery (valve) wont fit back in?

Can someone please explain?

Thanks

150 I can get a q45 tb and flange on my intake. Even if the tb itself is bigger the blade is still the same what would be the advantage of that?
