Oh things I would have done different from my build that I'm in the process of correcting now. SSAC headers, and a bigger cold air intake with a larger AFM .

O ok the I was going to say lol....I'll keep in touch with you to see how you are doing with your build in the future.

i had a quick flick through and itt said somewhere that you are running an x force header, imo you would be mad to swap that for a ssac. Nice build btw.

the best conversion i can think of comes from one of clints threads, where he did a normal run on a nz dyno (i think they are the same as aussie, or seem to be at least). Anyway he dynoed 152wkw, then did a run in sae corrected and made 216whp, in the states it seems that sae corrected is the lower or "truer" more comparable figure.

i never got a chance to run it with the BIG cams before it self destructed.
14.51@93.xx with the S3's
as far as torque loss goes.....bullsheiit! check around for Teal97 and "my dyno sheets". they should still be there. if not, i can post them up here.
still though the VE IS more fun, easier to drive and civilized doing it.
have fun doing which ever way you choose

Thanks. An extra 1/4 inch in the primaries and a 1/4 at the collector say otherwise!

I ran a 14.5 @ 90mph with S3's and slicks years ago. However now my car has stock manifold, ecu, street tires. It might hit 14s but given its 2740lb weight probably not. However on the dyno the C2s were good for 12whp over the S3's.

You are incorrect sir. I bought a USED motor with BC2s and NO valve springs and retainers and have put 20k miles on it myself and is still running strong! I take it to 7.2k rpm (stock b14 ecu) at least once a week.

its not incorrect. I said you can run them, but i thinks its stupid to. Just because you haven't broke anything yet doesn't mean you wont. you have probably experienced coil bind many times but haven't noticed
