Who's using Jwt C3's in their daily driver?
I would like to hear from the hardcore that are using C3's in their daily drivers. I understand most say these are horrible for street use but sometimes someones horrible can be considered to me as excellent. I mean are they really that bad according to dyno graphs the c3 cams not losing more than 7hp down low so I believe that is livable for what your getting up top. Talk to me.

What are your power goals? I dont see why you would want JWT C3's in a daily driver.

I don't really have a power goal. I just want to be kicking serious butt allmotor then drive my car to work as well. My goal is to run a 13.9-14.0 1/4 mile this year. These cams seem like they will take me there.

The cams cost $560 and you need new valve springs. For not much more you can get a VE head.

True but Ve heads make me kind of nervous though, I am not ready for that yet. Then I have to buy controllers and new ecu+wiring. I like to keep the setup fairly simple Because I don't know anyone in the area that can help me out with Ve's yet. As well as nitrous will be my main power adder.

LOL a completely stock (stock intake stock header stock exhaust) B14 will run mid to low 14s on a 120 shot on street tires. Seen one run a 14.4.

Dont spend your money on JWT C3s. Youll need new valve springs AND retainers. Not to mention you will be in VE territory money wise with all your other supporting mods. Yet you will be at stock VE power levels performance wise.

If you have plans to turbo the motor later on get some JWT S4 cams, pullies, intake, 3" exhaust (so you dont have to make another exhaust when you slap on the turbo) an ssac header, clutch, flywheel and just use nitrous on top of that until youre ready to boost it.

Different tastes for different people though. Just telling you what I did/doing.

O no you got it all wrong, I would like to run 13.8-14's allmotor, Then use the spray to get to 12's if possible but I am still new with it so that wont be for a while.

All motor DE running a 13.8, you will need weight reduction and fully bolted to the max. You might want to get a P&P on the head so that it can breathe. You plan on doing this on slicks, or street tires? If we are only talking C-Series right now, C2's would be the max I would go on a daily.

I had S5 with 2.5" straight thru NO cat and even with JWT´s S5 Smoothing program it was ABSOLUTELY unlivable. You will find yourself forced to downshift and make idiotic noise just to move 10m in stop and go traffic, etc. I dont want to imagine C3 with 3 inch exhaust.

Dont do it. Not for daily driving and also not for the power you will get with that kind of money.

Now if you HAVE to do it, I can even sell you some JWT valve springs cheap, but hey its not worth it.
