Low oil Pressure
been driving a while, and noticed that my car idles at just under 12.5psi (that's the line I have on my autometer gauge)

I thought standard de's are supposed to be above 15psi at idle, no?
Kinda stressing me out a bit.

Spec on a '98 SR is More than 11 psi at idle ... 46-57 psi at 3200 rpm ...

That's pretty consistent with what I've seen as well.

Also as your oil getting older the psi will drop at idle. I also stopped using autometer gauges because I found that the sending units suck.

it's off a fresh oil change - viscosity shoudln't be an issue I woudln't think.

My DE+T would idle around 20~25psi, and under load around 50psi... Lowport 98 SR20DE.

Cold start in the morning would yield around 65psi.

You were using a DET block and oil pump though, right Tek? DETs and VEs got better pumps. I usually get 13-15 after driving for 20-30 minutes.

No sir. This was the T25 setup before the current motor. DE block tapped for turbo, with an Avenir T25.
