What CR does the SR20VE 12.5:1CR bring in a SR20DE
Hey fellaz, trying to find out what CR does the CP 12.5:1 CR pistons bring about when placed in a SR20DE motor?

Need the experts for this one. But I believe it mite lower it to around 12:1. DE has larger bowl, I think.

11.7:1.

8.5:1 DET pistons in a VE end up at 9.3:1 compression. .8 CR difference.

Then this does mean that these are the same compression as the SR16VE Pistons, that give this 11.7 CR in a DE. That or CP's calculations are incorrect, and these give 13.2 CR as discussed before for SR16VEs in SR20VE (which is inconsistent with the 0.8CR difference anyway).

The compression will go up. The VE has a smaller combustion chamber.
