bearing brands?
hi... lookin for some main & rod bearings to rebuild my engine... id like to get a good set that ensures good performance and hopefully don't gimme issues mi engine is a stock DE.... what brands have you used with good outcomes, wich ones do you recomend, wich ones do you NOT recomend and hopefully where can i get em...

yup... but what kind?... stockies?... are they others that provide better performance?

i would just tell greg what your planning on doing with the bearings an he'll steer you in the right direction.. but if its a stock engine.. jus use stock bearings.. you need to take the lower and upper oil pans off, an the girdle an figure out what bearing sizes you need tho, that is if you havent already

thanx for the input bro... aparently gspec.com's down or somethin... i'll try to get online tomorrow... how bout this ones tough?...

ya i think the sites down too, from what i read its best to use oem bearings, altho some people have really good luck with aftermarket ones..

are de and det bearings the same?.... i mean identicall? i belive ive read det's have oil passages... is this true cant find pics :S

gti-r ones are the best stock ones but for you go just go with the de ones acl's are overkill for what your doing.
