Dyno help
Last fall i had the car on the dyno for 2 pulls just to see where i was at. The whole curve is choppy and they guy said it was most likely ignition related. I am ordering a new exhaust and want to go back to check it after that but i am wondering what i can bring with me or replace before hand.
The car runs fine, good idle (wavers a little but not very often), MPG's are ok and consistantly around 32, & no CEL's.
Setup:
95 SR20DE stock ECU
EGR bypassed
Highport cams
Timing at 19*
SSAC header
G Spec WP and Crank pulleys
Injen CAI
Nismo FPR
Outlaw Thermoblock spacers
NO AC or PS
Nismo Thermostat
New knock sensor, WP, & fuel filter
New cap, rotor, wires, & NGK BKR6E plugs gapped at .035.
Stock exhaust on this pull in 4th.
I know this is not a high HP setup but it is my car and i would like it to run the best as feasibly possible. Should i try new plugs? Try hotter plugs? Change timing? What can i check or replace? I just did the Wayne Cox HP trick and i am not sure if it was off at all and i didnt notice anything afterwords. I dont mine checking stuff out but i do not want to have to sit on the dyno all day either. So if i can do a few things before the dyno it would be good. If i try a few things and nothing helps then i guess that is just the way it is.
