DET cams on DE?
Well ive been offered a pair of DET cams for my DE, I want to know if they actually work on the DE, and what type of gains would I get if any.

They'll fit, but they won't net you any gains if anything you will see losses. The det cams are more mild, less lift, less duration. Do your reading as per the links below:

i think gti-r cams are an upgrade....or a hiport cam if you have a lowport motor

Tim, i was always of the perception that the DE cams gave the DET a little more kick, certainly in mid range i know they made more power.

Yes, I thought so too, however this thread is for the opposite, so stating that there would be a loss seems logical?
