The rev limit is raised for the B14 from 7200 to 7500 (although on my tach it went up to about 7800 ish) speed limiter is eliminated (it had an annoying speed cut at 112 "ish") and I "heard" that the fuel curve is slightly better optimized but my car acted the same.

Depends on the year , my '98 I had to swap a couple vacuum hoses and wires at the ecu , all written up on the JWT website ...

I did the '91 cam and the ECU .... did feel a good gain on the upper end ... and yea raised the rev limit , but I still tend to shift around 7000 ....

OK? So it not actually unhook the current ECU off a G20 and just plug in?
Shawn, mine is also a 98. Can you give me more instructions?

Yes plug and play. Make sure u disconnect the battery when you do this.

Make sure it is an OBDII G20 manual ECU. You can use the auto one but you will get a Check engine light because of the missing auto transmission sensors.

I have a '98 and mine was plug and play. My G20 ECU was from a 95 manual G20 and i have had no hiccups or "Service Engine Soon" or "Check Engine Light". YMMV

98-99 you have to switch like 3 wires around on the harness for it to work right.

Doc, how much are you getting the g20 ecu for? If it is anywhere near $100, then just buy my calum ecu. It will get rid of your speed limiter and I can up your rev limiter to whatever you want, I also have a very good na bolt on tune that I can put on there for you. We will still have to rewire those things just like with the g20 ecu, but I will help you with it if you aren't comfortable. I'll let you know when my replacement header comes in also, then we can meet up.
