They claim 25k mile or 1 year oil change with that stuff, but no way I was
going to run it that long.
Was still getting great fuel economy, even through WI winter.
I have to send that oil sample in for analysis.
Even if the results are good, don't think I'll put that many miles on it again.
This is on my '93 SE-R daily driver, with 187k miles.

On a side note how much oil does everyone put in their sr20's?

I had to watch it a few times at the end. I *think* they meant 10hp gain
over the valvoline, because he also said they ended up right at 800hp. They
didn't show the graph for the final run.

When I change oil, I jack up the driver's side front of the car while draining,
to get as much of the old oil out as possible, since the oil drain is at the
back passenger side of the pan. I put in about 3-3/4 qt, then run it for
10-20 seconds, wait for the level to settle and check it again. Mine takes
between 3-3/4 and 4 qt when draining it like that.

Yeah that's the one. So you ran it for 9429 miles. I'm running it on my daily VE. I think I need get a new gasket for my valve cover or need to re-torque it cuz the oil seems to be leaking from there ever since I changed to that from the mobile 1 oil i normally run.

royal purple 5w30 + purelator pureone filter (due to it's superior filtering material)

In terms of the amount of oil...****, I changed it a few weeks ago on my B14 SE, it barely go over the 3 1/4 quarts...weird. I didnt want to do the 4 quarts, as it was the Synthetic blend, might cause leaking.

As for the Edge, put them on my wife's Sequoia. Felt smoother and it will get hot here in Texas. Seems like it used a little bit more than the Valvoline Synthetic blend I've previously used.

Oh, I've change the tranny oil on the B14 with Motul 300 Gl4-5...damn, this stuff is amazing. No cold hard ass shift in the morning like the crap RedLine. I will get the oil for the engine next time for the cars. It was very pricey. 17 bucks a quart!
