Yeah we got The Edge at my work a few months back. It's a pricey little fugger. No ones really bought it yet, and i won't be. I hope a few people do and let me know if it's any good over time.

Results of "Lucas Oil dyno test...Who's the best?"

Valvoline conventional 10w40 9 quarts - 762hp
Valvoline conventional 10w40 8 quarts - 772hp
Valvoline conventional 10w40 7 quarts - 792hp
Lucas synthetic 10w30 racing oil 7 quarts - 797.5hp
Lucas synthetic 0w20 pro stock racing oil 7 quarts - 800hp

So Lucas 10w30 synthetic made 5.5hp more than Valvoline 10w40.
Lucas 0w20 synthetic racing oil made 8hp more than Valvoline 10w40,
and 2.5hp more than Lucas 10w30 synthetic racing oil.

Only a 1% hp gain for 0w20 synthetic Lucas racing oil over
10w40 conventional Valvoline???

The biggest gain was from proper oil level/volume.

Apples vs. Oranges...
Why not compare Lucas 10w30 synthetic vs Valvoline 10w30 synthetic,
and some other 0w20 synthetic vs Lucas 0w20 synthetic?

I just recently put Amsoil 0w30 synthetic with the Amsoil filter. Just wondering if the filters from Amsoil are any good.

They said almost 10 hp over the lucas 10w30 so it would be 805-806 or so. But anyway i agree it would be more helpful for us to have a comparison between synthetics.

On a side note how much oil does everyone put in their sr20's?

I really can't describe how well the Eneos 0w50 has been; it made the engine feel smoother than the Mobil 1 10w30 Extended Performance, and a bit peppier as well. It's pricey, but I'd rather spend twice as much as Mobil 1 on the Eneos and know the shear stability is way up there, and that my motor should last that much longer.
