Thread: How do I determine the diff btwn P10T and B13 Tranny?

Well I currently have a b13 Tranny in my P10. I need another b13 tranny. My mechanic found another tranny but im afraid that its from a p10T(longer gearing ). Do they have the same serial/vin # etched on the tranny?

The P10T will have the hole in the front side of the bellhousing for the crank speed sensor. There will be a 1/2-3/4" hole with a hole tapped for a 6x1.0mm thread bolt (10mm head)

The B13 trans wont have this hole there. only the OBD2 cars have that.
