I agree. The rocker arm stoppers can actually destroy your valvetrain more with them. With rocker arm stoppers when the valves float or the lifter collapses at higher rpm or a miss shift, the rocker slides off of the valve and can get lodged between the retainer and cylinder head. The rocker will break, the retainer will usually break, the valve(s) will bend, and so on. Without rocker stoppers, the rocker can be dislodged and will break but usually the rest of the valvetrain will remain in tact.

i know this thread's a bit old, but bump!

updates on page 2-3

long story short, i put the cams and everything else in, went to get it tuned, spun a bottom end bearing on the dyno so now it's getting rebuilt. using SR20VE bottom end components, higher comp, some porting, more bolt ons etc etc
