I have stock ignition, maybe 0.035" is the option. The stock gap is 0.044"?

Maybe try stock gap first and see how it performs without misfiring. free power first and if it misbehaves then you can close the gap to suit. if you try it at .035" your not likely to widen the gap.

I used bkr6EIX, with 270psi compression, with 7's the car had less throttle response and felt a little weak, I changed back to regular bkr6-11, that's the way to go. Try the 7's for a week or two and the switch to the 6's, you will notice the difference

Do you have an MSD? Try it with an MSd see if ti's any better.


(knock with heat 6?)

If there's knock then there is too much compression for the fuel used. Too much timing too. There is a point where you just have to increase the octaine.
