Water & Water/Meth injection on NA cars
Can a car still compete in the N/A class if it's running Water injection?

And if it's running Water/Meth injection?

A lot of guys are using octane enhancements etc, so I cannot see why using water/meth (which raises the effective octane level) should be discriminated against?

N/A class?
Also, water/meth injection just cools the intake charge, which allows you to run higher compression (aka more boost on a boosted car) and more timing.

What are you competing in?

I'm referring to 1/4 mile racing. I want to know if the car will still be considered N/A if it is running water or water/methanol injection? Or will it be seen as the same type of assitance as a turbo/nos assisted car. I know it doen't give vaguely the same benefits but I just want to know how it will be viewed.

It can be used on a N/A car as it cools the intake temp, creates a denser airmixture, resists detonation and also increases the octane to about 116 or so depending on how much and what pump gas you're using.
