Thread: Which hose goes where? (PICS)

Which of the hoses goes to which coolant passage?
the driver's side one (the right one in the 2nd picture held by my hand) goes to which metal nipple, the one facing the 2 hoses or the one facing down?





Also, please look at the fuel pressure regulator. Are the fuel lines correct or backwards?

the fuel return hose should be connected to the regulator. i had them crossed when i did my swap and wondered why it wouldnt start not sure on the heater hoses, id have to go look at mine. i think the hose coming out of the top nipple on the firewall goes to the right side one in the first pic but im not 100% on that

the nipples on the f/w are parallel! right or left?

also, one tube has some rubber tubing with holes in it as seen, and the other one doesn't - if that helps

the one on your hand goes to the one facing down and the other goes to the other, the fuel rail, the one thats coming out the fuel filter on the top goes to the one coming from the fuel rail not the pressure regulator....hope that helps..

there's a hose that comes off the top of the automatic transmission on a b15, i've looked through the manual 3 times- it's not the oil cooler hoses, but something else. Does anyone have an idea of where it goes?

Im not sure w/o looking, but 1 hose out of tranny that is curved at the tip does not go anywhere or hook up to anything.

yes, now that I have the term 'tranny vent' I was able to search and that's what it's for. odd, but unconnected to anything.

Anyone with a b15 lowport with no fuel filter on the firewall, can you verify the fuel lines (which one does the peice with the rubber with mutliple holes in it go to?)

the one with the holes is the one coming from the fuel filter correct? that one goes to the rail connection without the fuel pressure regulator. The line coming from the regulator is the return line.

lol does no one read the comment I wrote about not having the fuel filter in sight?

the fuel filter on a b15 is not mounted in the engine compartment, so I have no idea which hose comes off the fuel filter

fuel filter on a b15 is in the pump itself iirc.
