well the thing you have to understand, is that with these kinda modifications. they are like a benifit for upcoming mods. the advantages of lightweight flywheels are that they:
much lighter over stock down to 8lbs
rev much faster over the rpm band
faster rev = faster shifting
frees up retation mass = in more horsepower gain.
i tihnk that with the flywheel mod,you will notice a difference if you fourthcoming mods have to do with needing lighter rotation mass,faster revs,faster shifts. otherwise the useage for the flywheel might not be seen as important.
but i will say with a boosted application you cant go wrong some people say heavier flywheels create a load for boosted applications that lighter flywheels dont and in return the flywheels dont respond as well as heavier flywheels, but i have yet to see any kinda proof that turbo applications with light flywheels hurt the rpm band. faster shifting,faster revs, esp with a turbo application that is utilizing low rpm full boost that is giving you a larger power range, faster revs is PERFECT. which is exactly what the lighter flywheels do
