10:1 Pistons
Can I expect any gains by putting the Highport pistons on a low port SR20?, if so how much?

And is it worth doing or should I just rather save a couple more bucks and by a couple SR16 pistons

Im new to the forum and im really digging it

Thanks.

Welcome to the forum. I'd wait and get the SR16 pistons if you plan on keeping it all motor.

Yeah I figured that was probably the best approach, but thanks.

One more question, Is it worth putting some cams like JWT or BC on an Auto SR20? imo I think id rather get just a 91 Intake cam since the car its Auto and that cam works best at low and midrange rpm's, but since im gonna have the money to buy some BC's I wanna know if it would be worth buying them.

hey man
BC cams are pretty cheap I'd save up for them instead
and if you don't mind the best mod you could do to the car right now, would be swapping the tranny for a manual one

The first thing I would do would be swapping the trans, then I could find better cams.....

^ Yes. It may seem like alot more hassle and money to only end up with an essentially "stock" car, but believe me you will appreciate your car much more. And (even though this has been discussed many many times and a simple search wouldn't hurt) the BC cams are indeed cheaper than the JWT, for a reason. Not quality wise, but to really extract the most out of them you need adjustable cam gears and take some time to tune it. The JWT are pretty much a drop in and go situation. More research went into the JWT product.
