yeah I've read on the forum some folks say you can't go over 87mm, but 88mm is the actual limit.

They ran all the satcars at 88mm cause it made the best power without having to go over 8k rpm.

^ thats what i figued. i remember asking this a long time ago but never getting any real answers, everyone said 87 was max.

a nice high compression 88 mm bore ve with some head work would be a wonderful street/semi strip n/a car.

I thought there had been some people who had problems with 88, maybe it depends how central the liners were cast?

BTCC is alive - but barely.


I think afetr 2000 everyone pulled out. Nissan Demoralized them in the last two seasons of 98 and 99. Volvo, Nissan, williams etc all pulled the plug.
