Wayne Cox HP trick
Hi guys,

Sorry for being a bit slow but I have searched this forum (and the OTHER one) for Wayne Cox HP trick as mentioned here but cannot find anything.

Can anyone help me out?

thats an old school trick with all types of engines. my teacher tryed to explain it to me but I think it one of those things i'll have to se being done.

The "trick" is to take off the distributor cap, loosen the rotor, turn the rotor as far counter-clockwise as you can then tighten the rotor down. Use one hand to keep the rotor secure as you tighten it down so it doesn't move back.

You can also take off the rotor and dremel the hole out a little bit for a little more adjustment.

right. drilling out the hole in the cap and useing the timing light to see were spark is and putting it in the optimal spot has been done for ages. the more I read the trick the more i can see what he's doing in my head to adjust for that.
