Thread: In need of some quick help

I bought a 200sx se-r. The kid before me broke the rocker arms and then replaced them with new ones. When i had bought the car the head was on the car but not bolted down so i took the head off and then the cams out to check the rocker arms not know he had replaced them already. Now that i look at the pieces that go over the cams (not to sure what they are called) have little figures on them. Like on has :-. and then another will have ::-. with an arrow. I'm guessing these are ratios. It is what holds the cam down because you have to bolt it down. Im guessing these have to go in a specific order and I was wondering if anyone on here knew the order for the exhaust and the intake or had a picture of there cams with those pieces on it so i can see it from that. Sorry I'm not to sure what those pieces are called. If anyone can help me out that'd be great.

im thinking you're talking about the cam caps. yes, they should go in order from 1 to 5 I for intake and i dont think theres an E on the exhaust ones.
Im sure ser.net has the order of them pictured and i know theres a geocity webpage with pics too.
