you can put the MAF as close to the plenum as you can and may be richen the accelaration enrichment?

There is this company that can make cast manifolds or modify cast manifolds w/ ITB's and larger plenums. They have done it for the ka24 fwd and rwd, plus the DET rwd as well. Xcessive Manufacturing

Why doesnt someone just make homemade ITB's?

Well probably would end up in power loss. I looked at the quad throttle route with some 4AGE blacktop quads I got offered up, but decided that as cool as they sound it wouldn't be worth the hassle getting them to fit.
Has anyone on the forum actually run them?

The whole converting from MAF to MAP with a standalone has kept me away from them.
