Hang in there, you'll see it soon enough. Only with FS4 cams and a few other tweaks as well....

Just need to fit the EMS and run the motor in now.

If u do this it restricts the itbs, the whole point is to remove the plenum and allow each cylinder to draw in air and not rely on a plenum.

But that is the easier way to go.

I was reading some where calum rt ecu can use a map..... so that might be a way i go, but not sure what map they can run.....?
If the calum RT can run a map i will be doing a Itb set up, and direct set up (75wet shot) lol

cheers

Nope. Whole point is better throttle response. Every other gain you get with ITBs can be had with a single TB of sufficient size.

^i believe the TB from the Q45 delivers the same flow a itbs. but if calum could wrte a program using a MAP sensor then you'd be in business. i'm sure if he couldnt do it then standalone would be the only option. i believe mastersentra ran gti-r itbs on his sr and was using a haltech unit. so he might have some input

I quit.

Dan, you can do all that with a single throttle body, can you not?

Nope. a Single throttle body is limited, because the plenum has to distribute the air equally, if the factory ones are not efficient then a larger TB just lets more air in. Itb makes will have the equal amount of air flow... in which, greater thorttle responce, more hp and with change in the runners u can move ur power band.

^elaborabte a lil more on the "length" of the runners & shifting the power band.... is it that longer runners give u more hp/tq down low & shorter runners give u more hp/tq up top ? does the "fattness" of the runners play a role too ?? (fatter equal better ?)
