Autech Camshaft Specs
Gday All
I recently got a set of Genuine AUtech SR20DE cams profiled.
Here are the results:
Lift on the lobe at TDC on overlap is 7.08mm. Rocker ratio of 1.6 gives us 11.38MM worth of actual lift.
Centerline is roughly .5/.6
Advertised valve timing @ .050"
Inlet Opening: 115.6 BTDC
Inlet Close -64.3 ABDC
Exhaust Opens -64.3 BBDC
Exhaust Opens 115.6 ATDC
With this cam, and 11.5:1 compression you would exepect to see about 190PSI of cylinder cranking pressure. Dynamic compression ratio will be somewhere near 9.2:1 taking into account duration etc
With cam gears you could easily play around with the motor and gain around 3% extra compression, but that sort of thing should be left to a workshop and dyno's to see how it all runs.
