Thread: new to 240's

just picked up my first 240!!! just wondering what kind of ecu ppl are using to tune the car. i have an sr20det redtop most likely from the later years. trying to keep it simple and as a dd. just looking for what ppl use as ecu's and how to tune... been a honda guy forever. [using my lil bro's account for now, he's got an NX2k]

Some people use stock ECU with ROM tune, other's use Power FC. SAFC should not be used as a permanent tuning medium, it is more of a temporary fix.

I would recommend staying away from piggybacks. Head straight for an aem or powerfc or check out rsenthalpy.com and jimwolftechnology.com for turn key rom tunes.
