sr20 5hole main journal

I was debating on getting.my block machined to use 5hole main bearings i have a det is.there a major advantage to having this done

There is an advantage. Its for better oiling of the rod bearings. If you have the means to do it, go for it.

As far as doing the 19mm rod machining is that also something i should do i have carillo pro h rods with carr bolt and a det crank

Do you have to do any machining to the crank to fit the widet bearings?

No, I ran custom crowers w/ 19mm bearings on my DE crank, no issues.

doesn't the det come with the 5 hole mains as standard?
