Thread: rb swap questions

hello everyone, fresh out of the honda game, looking for a whole new world. so i was looking into rb26/25 swaps and saw the swap was relatively close, so. after spending 3000 on an rb, what shouldi expect to spend just to get the swap to sit in the engine bay and start in an s13??? please help me with an info taking this extremely seriously thank you.

Shoot for the RB25DET vs the RB26DETT, It's a little cheaper and prob in better shape than the RB26. Your going to need mounts another $450 or if you can get a R32 crossmember you can bolt that up to the S13 and use the OEM mounts. Drive shaft will be needed, new timing belt, tensioner, idler, water pump ect. Try and find the RB25DET Neo that's the best RB25 you can come across. RB20DET / RB25DET / RB26DETT Forum

Lots and lots of info for the RB20,25,26 and RB30. RB's will run you broke parts are $$ and you need more of them lol. Search on that forum 1st they don't take kindly to people who just ask questions and don't search 1st.
