Hmm you have a mazworx tq plate huh?? Pm me pricing info and how long you rent it out for. I have to check with my local machine shop and see if they use tq plates might as well go 87mm on my det now

FYI, if you're worried about emissions or other legality, and you're in the USA (you didn't say, and I don't know what "p-plate" is), then you need to get yourself a KA. An SR in RWD configuration has never been "legal" for use on any US road (although many people do it.)

All you need to know/worry about for this is to make sure the oil pump/front cover is bolted on when you have the block decked..if not the headgasket won't seal around the front and you'lll have a oil leak...

Cliff notes:

front cover needds to be on the block when its decked so the two surfaces are machined to the same height.

well if you read '2_Liter_Turbo' post, it sounded like way more than that. he even says check the fsm for details.

I've rebuilt many sr20s and fsm is key. Don't stray from it except for when doing ring gap on different pistons and rings. ... than just fallow there guidelines. Doing a high Rev engine is a different story.
