If it's running your going to pay drift tax on it. running goes from 2k to 5k. U can find some steals on craigs list sometimes.

In general what's the best clutch for road racing and drifting?

good question but I don't do either. I run a 6 puck with a sprung hub in my 240.

If i was doing the swap with 15 g id go with a rb25 clip and a 240 roller.more parts swapped over to the 240 the better.you still need a mount kit i think.syko sells one for it.you still would have money for upgrades to the rest of the chassis

If he stays with the SR20 he won't need a mount kit or a drive shaft. To be honest he just needs to find a good clean car before anything happens. That will be the expensive part, Look into S14's too.

I do not really like the newer 240s i prefer the hatch type. Just like the looks better overall. I like the s14 front does just think the rear ends are ugly don t care for the tail lights. Probly a stupid question but would it be worth rebuilding the sr20 in my 97 ser to put that in a 240?

it would cost way more to use that motor and make it fit in a rwd car. U would need custom mounts and trans adapter.
