Thread: Misfire on my 240. Halfway diagnosed. Please give advice.

Yah, but the plug will need a grounding source. Lay it on the intake manifold or carefully use an alligator clip to ground the electrode.
Personally that plug looks white to me. White is lean. At least the last 5 seconds of it's life was spent lean. That's all the color usually tells you.

Well I need to go get a compression tester so I can do a test on each cylinder. I have a bad feeling that the rings are really worn out.

Will see if I have spark on #2 cylinder. I actually hope that I don't get a spark...that could be a simpler fix.
