Yes there will be enough instructors to pull this off they use the pro drivers as instructors so while you are in class the pro drivers are out racing and when it's your turn to go on the track the pro drivers are off the track and in your car instrusting with you for your laps now this event is usually from 7am-5pm with a lunch break at around 12p

And then be moved to other groups after being signed off by their instructor?

Will there be enough instructors to accomplish this task?

Didn't see a schedule, how many sessions are planned for each run group?

Sorry for all the questions, but it's better to know ahead of time than to be surprised at the last minute. Especially if everyone has to go thru the vetting process.

Found the technical inspection form for NJMP:

http://www.njmp.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/NJMP-Tech-Form-2014.pdf

Discliamer: I cannot find anything else that would indicate this form is not used anymore but it is up to the individual to check that this is the correct form to use.

That's actually not too bad. I've been at some tracks where the inspection list is like four times as long. Sweet

Here's a part I don't understand:

 Lap and Shoulder Belts required at minimum for all closed cars.
 No 4-Point harnesses allowed. 2 years or newer, SFI. 5 years or newer, FIA.

So a 5 point harness is required and it has to be 2 years or newer SFI? Gotta love Jerzee.

Not entirely sure what you are getting at here??

But to explain

1) Lap and shoulder are for 3 point "OEM" seat belts and seats. They do not recommend a 3 point seat belt with a bucket seat (unless the belts are ran through the shoulder and harness holes. But this varies from organizations
2) 4 Point harness terribly unsafe as they have no anti-submarine belt.
3) The SFI and FIA rating is for safety (and for 5 point harnesses). Similar to how FIA seats expire. It's all to do with safety

Hope that answers any questions or concerns.

CRITICAL UPDATE
ALL PLEASE READ

This would make it seem that since I do not hold any license from any "recognized motorsports organization" I am ineligible. I read your words and are presenting some observations, merely.

You have been at this event before and it is truly an arrive and drive ordeal and those who wish to participate are looking at $325 + $25 for the temporary license? (aka $350 for the track day experience)

I understand how you have laid it out in your replies, and I appreciate your/s efforts. I look forward to a reply that can help eliminate any possible confusion.

I spoke with Suraj regarding information and replies to Kyle's question a couple weeks ago. This is the first chance I've had to sit down and write this post. I contacted Jennifer Rymer (the EMRA representative) for clarification and she directed me to David Addiss who is in charge of the licensing. After my conversation with him it was clear that we will have 2 possible registration outcomes:

1) If you already have a current valid license from one of the other sanctioning bodies, you will be able to get the temporary weekend license for EMRA for $25. This will make your Track day $350 ($325 + $25)

2) If you do not have a current valid license, as I suspect would be the case for most of our members, you will need to sign up for Time Trial school. You will have classroom sessions as well as an instructor for your initial sessions. Once proficiency is demonstrated you may be granted the right to run solo or even move to the intermediate group. This will be solely at the discretion of the instructors so take the classroom and initial laps seriously. At the end of the day you will receive an EMRA Time Trial license valid for one year. Your cost will be $75 for the class & licensing. This will make your track day $400 ($325 + $75)
