Nothing is finalized but it would be a late morning afternoon noon start time.

Shit happens. Rob, Lou & Mark still have my support. The convention is about the getting the community together to hangout for a few days. I think the karting will be a huge success.

Maybe change locations to tracks that will be around a long time.

Did you not read the posts on this thread? The situation is unfortunate . Nobody anticipated this happening especially with 30days left til the convention. I know a lot of us are upset but its beyond the organizers control. Regardless of the situation, I'm flying in to see all my sr20 family. Let's not forget the convention is about the people. We still have the drag racing day.

It is unfortunate.
The organizers did put a lot of time and effort.

After rethinking some ppl may have made flight arrangements already so changing locations this year is not feasible.

Rumor has it that the track is in utter need of repairs, and asphalt was coming apart and hitting riders/vehicles. Unsafe. And the current owner (old man) doesn't want to spend a dime. ----this is what I saw in other forums, so no telling if it is 100% accurate.

Funny choices to compare to. RRR is only 2 years older, and AMP is a brand new CC track. We'll wait and see how long it is around....

This is a really odd situation, with alot of rumors and background dealings. It's all very unfortunate, and leaves more than just us out to dry.

How much would the Kart day be if we wind up doing that? More or less than the track day? Would we be responsible for any gear like helmets or is all that pizzaz included in the Karting fee?
