$40 mail in rebate (which I'm sure takes like 2 months to receive)

When I did submitted the Bridgestone $100 rebate it only took a few weeks to arrive.

These?

Tire Details - Discount Tire Direct

Came to $467.00 at $120 a tire with some $25 web savings. I was kinda hoping to spend closer to $400. Unless I have the wrong ones?

How about these buggers?

Theres tire threads for this, but either will be fine. I think the kuhmo probably is the grippiest of the three and better for track use,I have direzza dz101 as my daily driver tires.I like them, and you cant go wrong with Yokohama.Pick one.

As stated a while back on Facebook, I needed to install new wheels/tires/spacers/extended studs/nuts which I have done.
I also needed to install a new master cylinder and braided brake lines, which I have done.

The last thing to do is to install the new A/C compressor and dryer so we will be comfortable on the trip.

Need to install the NX AC system before I'm gonna drive this thing across country in the middle June! Also, radiator has an invisible crack in the plastic endtank...so gotta replace that and the t-stat and flush. Maybe some new wiper blades.

Those are NOT the Star Specs. I have the DZ101's and the Star Specs. Night and day difference. The 101's are an ok street tire, I wouldn't push them hard, the Star Specs are fantastic and we use them on the Chumpcars.

I don't think you'll find the first gen for sale anymore. They dropped the "Star Spec" from the name when they went to the 2nd generation.
