mine was on blocks like Rob's since September 2011 - not nearly as long, and my car isn't 1/10th as nice...
It was out of commission for 2 years. started driving it again in October 2013.... and now that I have a nice DD (2006 M35x), i realized problems that was tolerable before the motor blew, needed some serious TLC..

So in other words you won't be there. that's about 3 months of stuff if you worked on it several hours everyday

I have a few things:

-Rewire MAF again
-Figure out whats up with my one wiring harness from the dizzy'
-Change oil/filter
-New tires? Possibly
-Put on my new front Bra (lol, a whole 6 min for that)
-Pound that old-school stillen front STB on the car. I just can't get it on by myself, real fickle
-Tsuru crystal/smoked headlights and clear corners, but retaining the 93-94 grille and front
-I was going to say "finish breaking in the CM FX500 clutch" - but driving 400 or whatever miles to Ohio should do that.

weld in 3 patch panels, under coat the whole rear end. install turbo fx rear arms, reassemble everything else in the rear.

then start it (if it starts) then tune it, then align it....so yeah....lot to do

Let's see:

1. pack helmet
2. underpants
3. toothbrush

and get on the plane.

Yeah, I'm not driving there. Maybe when I lived in Toronto, but not since I moved out West.
