Nelson Ledges Track Day Payment Thread

On Thursday, June 19, 2014 we have the pleasure to be able to have our “exclusive” track day at Nelson Ledges Road Course located in Garrettsville, Ohio. Track rates will be posted shortly as we are waiting on some information. As an estimate the price will be around $140 for 6 hours of track fun. We are pretty much guaranteed to run 20 minutes out of every hour from the hours of 10 AM to 4 PM. Standard road course safety equipment is required such as helmets, seat belts, and a properly running car with no leaks and what not. Pretty much a properly running car will be allowed to run.

Gentlemen,

I wanted to post up information regarding the track day as far as cost and payment. The track day will be $130 per person to participate. We would like to take payment ahead of time due to the road course is requesting it before the scheduled date. The fees cover one driver and one car.

I will update the schedule for the day as we get closer. Again the track is exclusively ours for the day.

When sending in payment please include your entire name as well your forum name and what the payment is for. We are usning once paypal account to take in money.

Payments can be sent to: sr2014.ohio@gmail.com

Thank you all very much.

So with that being said I promise you that this Convention will be as great as the last 2012 Convention but, with a slight swing. We have some great ideas and like I mentioned above we are still fine tuning some things so when the details come I will update.

Thanks to everyone for giving Ohio another chance to show you all a good time.

I please ask that we please keep this thread on topic as it will be the main thread for information. Please ask questions and I will do the best of my abilities to answer promptly. If you need anything please feel free to contact myself SE-Rican, Lourok and or MarkSR20.

Money coming soon (for this and all the rest). I just need to get into March at the earliest before I can work the budget. Lots of things happening this year. None of it will prevent me from attending, just lots of stuff to juggle and I like to chronologically compartmentalize my spending.

We can have a front passenger correct? My brother's wife's family lives in Erie, PA and they may come out for a day or two. He owns a gorgeous 1993 Toyota MR2 Turbo that is quick on the straights and INSANE on the turns, but doesn't think he will take it on the course because he thinks no one will want him there. I told him everyone is cool and the more the merrier, but I think he may just want to ride with me a few times. Between him and I we probably have done about 14 track events, and about 30 auto-crosses. Sometimes together sometimes against each other. That's always fun, lol. Oh and if you're wondering my 92 VE walks him on the straights but being a boosted RWD mid-engine monster, the MR2 overtakes me (even on the outside) in the turns despite my K-sport coils set to like 30, sway/strut bars, camber plates etc. Although my tires are complete shit. I'm ging to have some pretty sick tires for this thing though soon. Haha. He also has a 2006 Mazdaspeed6 sedan - a very rare car, turbo but w/ AWD unlike the Madzdaspeed3 hatch which is FWD. That's his daily driver and that's fairly quick too.

Yes a passanger is allowed as long as they have a helmet.

And personally, I'd love to see him out there in the MR2 on the track (even better if he's in the same run group I'm in). The more the merrier right?
